¿Qué onda México?

Sometimes, all it takes is a bit of tequila to match our salt, or why we decided to open Dogstudio in Mexico city.

Our entire history as a company has been made of trials, errors, luck, and lack thereof, but the thing we’ve always hated the most are missed opportunities.

2019 has been a particularly exciting year for us. Between accelerating our growth in the US and starting collaborations with fortune 500 companies including American Airlines, Adobe (& others to be revealed soon), being chosen by respected and exciting cultural institutions, or even getting involved in an increasing number of challenging experiential installations, we’ve definitely been busy.

Life is good. Tiring, but good.

Amidst our progression in the US, meeting new friends, discovering new breweries, signing new projects, and definitely taking quite a few planes to San Francisco, New York, Detroit, Los Angeles, Portland, and whatnot, opportunities knocked at the door again in several shapes.

Maybe the most decisive of them all was our encounter with Rappi, the Colombian Unicorn of the on-demand delivery. Pretty much like any kind of relationship, we dated for a little while. You know, to see how much you get along, if you share the same goals, have the same taste, and if your parents actually vouch for your date (getting carried away here, sorry).

Today, we are thrilled to release our first collaboration for Rappi Pay, and to officially announce a strategic partnership with Rappi, putting our expertise in product design innovation & user experience at the service of their incredible growth and exciting vision.

We’re curious by nature, and while some of us definitely fell in love with Mexico, its culture, its people and its vivid life, it also felt like a good place for Dogstudio to explore new possibilities. We are proud to call it our newfound home.

A few months later, and after tons of discussions, planning, preparation, and most certainly excitement, here we are, officially announcing that from now on, we’ll also be present in the glorious Mexico-city.

So, now that we’re in town, what are you waiting for? Meeting for a coffee is just an email away.

¡Que viva México! ¡Que viva Dogstudio! ¡Y brindemos con unas chelas!
